Who are we? Where did we come from? How did we get here?
We're glad you asked!
We, Kingspan Racing, are an F1 in schools team of 6th year students, who are all avid Formula 1 fans passionate about STEM, representing Blackrock College, Co. Dublin. We came together with a common idea of taking part in one of the largest secondary school STEM competitions in the world and testing ourselves among the very best. We are representing Ireland in this year's F1 In Schools World Finals. July 9th - 15th, Silverstone.
WHY KINGSPAN?
Why did we choose Kingspan as our title sponsor you may ask, its simple really. For our team we wanted a large Irish based company that could reliably fund our project. Kingspan ticked these boxes and stood out to us with their mission to accelerate a net zero emissions future with the wellbeing of people and planet at its heart which we too are very passionate about. This made them the ideal candidate for our title sponsor, and the logo looks cool too.
